What is A+ Builders Academy?

A+ Builders Academy is a hands-on enrichment program where children ages 5-15 build real wood projects like birdhouses, garden boxes, and mini playhouses. While building, they develop teamwork, tool safety, and STEAM-based skills-all in a fun, safe, creative environment.

What Will Your Child Build? 🔨✨

  • Birdhouse Project

    This hands-on build introduces campers to woodworking by guiding them through the construction of a classic birdhouse. Students learn how to assemble wood parts using nails, wood glue, and safe tools while gaining a deeper appreciation for nature and craftsmanship.

  • Tool Caddy Project

    This project teaches campers how to build and personalize their own wooden tool caddy. It focuses on practical skills such as measuring, assembly, and fastening, all while encouraging creativity and independent thinking.

  • Garden Box Project

    Campers create a functional wooden garden planter box and learn the basics of framing, structure, and eco-friendly design. This project combines hands-on carpentry with a simple introduction to gardening and sustainability.

  • Mini Playhouse

    Campers build and decorate a miniature wooden playhouse using all the foundational skills they've learned. This creative project allows students to explore design, color, and structure while producing a fully personalized miniature space.
